So I was looking at getting some hair from Dolly Hair to make some customs, and I was wondering about their My Little Pony Hank hair length. I'll be customizing G4s with the same hair length as the store bought G4s (say, a Fluttershy single for example), and I was wondering how far a single hank would get me. Could I get enough for the mane and tail with one hank, or am I going to have to buy a hank for the mane and then a hank for the tail? Each pony will have multiple mane/tail colours, so I'm not expecting to cover the entire mane with one hank, but I need to know if I can get enough for a fourth of the mane as well as the tail with one hank.

If I'm not making much sense, I will try to clarify. Silly

Thanks!

One hank would give you enough to do around three G4s, you definitely won't need to buy a separate hank for the tail!

Ok, wonderful! I figured it would be something like that, but I wanted to be extra sure. Thank you so much!

Yes, the dollyhair hanks are designed for G1 ponies, and G4 ponies are WAAYY smaller!

I can usually get about three G4's out of one hank of dollyhair. Smile I love that I can get so many more customs out of one hank! One hank is enough to do one G1 or G3 pony.

Thanks, I was wondering the same thing about G3s. Looks like I'll have extra hair.
