PostPosted: 0    Post subject: Price-check for New Year's Herd Reduction

In preparation for the new year, which promises to bring many new changes and a move, I'm culling my plastic pony herds, which includes the My Little Ponies. I'm a little sad to see them go, but I'm hoping they'll end up in new and better homes (where they don't have to live in plastic bins!). And I'm still holding on to all my favorites. Smile

I've managed to pull out quite a few ponies to sell, including G1 and G3 (and some random odds and ends). But it's been so long since I bought or sold or even tuned into the pony community that I have no idea what things are worth any more, so I could really use some help with price-checks! I've pulled some numbers from research on eBay, but I would very much appreciate confirmation of these numbers (or new numbers if they're totally wrong).

All ponies of these ponies are in good, collectible condition.

Round One:
> Flutter Ponies (Year 4: 1985-1986)
-- Forget-Me-Not ($10)
-- Honeysuckle ($7-10)
-- Lily ($5-10)
-- Morning Glory ($10ish)
-- Peach Blossom ($7-10)
-- Rosedust ($7-10)

> Party Gift Pack (Year 4: 1985-1986)
-- Yum Yum($12-15)

> Merry-Go-Round Ponies (Year 7: 1988-1989)
-- Diamond Dreams ($??)
-- Sunnybunch ($14-16)

> Sunshine Ponies (Year 7: 1988-1989)
-- Shoreline ($12ish)
-- Wave Runner ($12ish)

Thank you so much! Happy

So $40ish for Diamond Dreams? She has a few minor flaws, so I'll probably at least start her lower than that. Thanks!

No price research on this next batch just yet. Sorry.

-- Windy

And then there are a few G3 ponies I need to hunt down. @_@ I've had a very long day, though, and will do that later!

Ooh, I can help with this one! I paid $40 for my peach Sweet Clover and $35 for my pink Sweet Clover with a rehaired tail. This was in the fall, though - I feel like the buy prices have dropped since then.

It's a pity about the price drop because I kinda need the money now -- after deciding to sell for the sake of life development, I have now lost my job and my computer died. Still hoping, at least, that the ponies will be appreciated by new collectors, but making some extra cash wouldn't hurt! Poke Tounge

Thanks for the tip, though! Smile

I don't know a price range but I'm interested in Perfume Puff Dainty Dahlia if you do decide to sell her and she is in good condition.

I am actually particularly interested to hear people's opinions on the value of Dainty Dahlia.
