But be careful, this kind of green fabric tends to color the ponies if the air is too humid :/

Thanks!

I've actually had my ponies sitting on risers like this for years and have had no discoloration at all even with the high Tennessee humidity. I painted the first set of shelves I made and that did cause discoloration so I switched to felt. The felt looks a lot better than the paint anyway so it worked out ^_^

Very nice idea! I wanted to chime in that if you're worried about stability with the foam core, put half-toothpicks through one piece of foam board in to the other along the seams. I used to make Dice Towers out of foam board and would attach the pieces together with toothpicks and Elmer's Glue. They're VERY sturdy! And putting felt or something over the board would hide the toothpick ends. Smile

Nice job!!!
I have my ponies also diplayed on a "tribune".
But mine are very simple, just thin wooden plates about 15 cm wide and as long as my closet. I put some glass tumblers underneath them to create highth.

This is great- may have to try this since so many of my ponies are hidden behind others. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome, I was thinking of doing something just like that once I get the display cabinet issue sorted out. This tutorial puts the guesswork of building a few of these to rest Smile

Thanks for sharing Smile

OK, I'm embarrassed that I hadn't thought of anything this fabulous and simple myself; and if it wasn't 10:15pm, I'd be running to a store to get supplies for this RIGHT NOW! I am SO going out tomorrow morning and getting stuff so I can whip me up some of these.

Huge thank you for sharing!

Oooh, thanks so much for sharing. This is amazing.
Right now I have makeshift risers made out of GHD boxes (ghd=good hair day= expensive hair straighteners like 300 bucks each)
I will definitely be making many of these.

Wow, that's a great idea! They look so professional! I might need to upgrade my tissue box risers Wink
